Annually, the Center for Public Leadership (CLP) makes public the Competitiveness Ranking of States of Brazil. When editing 2020, published this Thursday, day 17, Santa Catarina (SC) remained in 2nd place in the General Ranking, only behind the state of São Paulo.
In this year, SC won 79,5 overall score in the ranking that covers 10 pillars, as Education, Public security, Public Machine Innovation and Efficiency. The Brazilian average was 47,5.
The state remained in the first place, with maximum note, us pillars of Social Sustainability and Public Security, as well as the third place in Innovation. In the Fiscal Solidity pillars, Public Machine Efficiency, Human Capital and Market Potential, gained positions compared to other states.
